The Hillingdon Learning Partnership

The Hillingdon Learning Partnership (HLP) is a dynamic initiative to ensure that schools in Hillingdon easily access a high quality, locally available school improvement service. The Partnership is “led by schools for schools”. It is collaboration between educational professionals committed to excellence. HLP operates rigorous Quality Assurance to ensure all support is delivered by high calibre, experienced and credible professionals.

Provision oﬀered is research based and suﬃciently broad and ﬂexible to respond to and meet individual school and academy needs. As well as up-to-date brieﬁngs, network meetings and Continued Professional Development that underpin the ﬁve pillars of professional development, schools can also engage with a range of additional bespoke programmes of support, such as peer reviews and robust self evaluation, strategic planning for improvement and ensuring outstanding teaching and learning.

Our Mission

The mission of the Hillingdon Learning Partnership is that every child and young person in Hillingdon achieves their potential and develops high aspirations for their future. HLP will deliver:

high quality, locally available school improvement support, which is best value and cost eﬀective
rigorous quality assurance and needs analysis and promotion of educational excellence
evidence of impact on improvements leading to improved outcomes for children and young people, and their families and communities
a core offer plus a range of optional services
new branding and new governance
co-ordinate and deliver services directly to member schools and work in partnership with the Teaching School Alliance and member schools to deliver services
strong partnership working between Hillingdon Council and schools to secure best possible outcomes for children and young people
an annual subscription package for Full membership or Associate membership subscription
