Professional Networks

The HLP is delighted to be able to offer a wide-ranging programme of Professional Learning Network meetings across the academic year. These will be phase specific and we would actively encourage all schools to send colleagues to support these meetings. This is a very exciting development for our Partnership and we hope all schools will support this initiative.

The meeting will be focussed on a number of key areas:
To collaborate together to improve outcomes for all children
Celebrating good practice and innovation
Sharing resources
Identifying training needs – which HLP can support delivering
To keep up-to-date with the national perspective
An opportunity to meet and discuss with colleagues from across the Borough.

We have asked Head Teachers to nominate successful leaders in their own schools to run these networks. They will then be given training and support to ensure the meetings are focussed and impactful.

The first sessions will be hosted by one of the lead schools, the network will then decide the dates and where subsequent sessions are to be held. We are suggesting that the networks meet between 3 and 4 times this year. The sessions will run from 4.00pm – 5.30pm.
